The Glen Double is a two-person fixed-grip chairlift located at Camelback Mountain Resort. The chairlift runs from the eastern half of the base area, near the bottom of the Sunbowl Quad chairlift and the Adventure BaseCamp lodge, up to about halfway up the mountain. The chairlift mainly serves a pod of beginner terrain as well as the mountain's beginner terrain park, though there are also a couple of intermediate trails which can also be accessed from the top of the chairlift. The chairlift was manufactured by Borvig and installed at the resort in 1980. Camelback Mountain Resort is a ski area located in Tannersville, Pennsylvania. The resort is located in the heart of the Pocono Mountains in Northeastern Pennsylvania in Monroe County, about 10 miles west of Stroudsburg and the New Jersey border. The resort is known for its family-friendly terrain and wide footprint for such a resort of its height. The resort has a nice variety of groomers for all ability levels as well as a good learning program. The mountain is quite the popular ski area, mainly due to being located just a 1.5-hour drive west of New York City and a 1.5-hour drive north of Philadelphia, and its convenient location right off of Interstate 80. The ski area is also just a short drive from other cities in Pennsylvania such as those in the Wyoming and Lehigh valleys such as Scranton, Wilkes-Barre, Allentown, and Bethlehem, as well as a convenient drive from other cities such as Harrisburg and Reading in Pennsylvania, Newark, New Jersey, and Binghamton, New York. The resort is also a popular destination for non-skiers year-round as the resort also features America's largest tubing park in the winter, a year-round indoor waterpark, as well as an outside waterpark, a mountain coaster, an alpine slide, a zipline, and many other activities in the summer.
