There are many trails throughout the park, but on this journey, we started out walking down to lovely Jade Bay Beach with the goal of reaching Rattlesnake Point. Jade Bay Beach is a nice stretch of pebbles and sand that is a perfect day-use area, especially if you have kids. It's also the ideal spot to watch incredible Okanagan Valley sunsets during the summer months. The beach is equipped with several picnic tables and an outhouse. This bay also has a nice beach, but it is much sandier than its neighbor and features a rocky outcropping where visitors can enjoy some private little coves away from the busier area. There is a large grassy area and several picnic tables perfectly suited for family gatherings. The water here is incredibly blue and super clear. This area is very rugged and is a popular spot for cliff diving and swimming around the rocky coves. Again the water there is insanely blue and almost resembles that of the Caribbean Sea.
