A woman in the 1950s discovers she has a skill for typing in this delightful French comedy. In 1958, assertive country girl Rose Pamphyle (Deborah Francois) arrives in a small town for a job interview at an insurance agency. Rose is keen to make her mark in a man's world. But her potential employer Louis (Romain Duris) isn't too impressed. Nevertheless, he makes the decision to hire Rose on the basis of her ability to type at incredibly fast speeds. It also gives Louis an idea - he will send Rose to the regional and national speed typing competitions where her skills will help put his business on the map. But first she needs to be trained up - and in order for this to happen, Louis demands that Rose move in with him! The battle of the sexes gets an effervescent spin in this upbeat comedy - a charming story of gender equality and girl power with eye-catching performances from Francois and Duris.
