Abu Muhammad Muslih al-Din bin Abdallah Shiraz (Saadi) was born in 1209 in Shiraz. After spending his childhood, in order to study, he went to Baghdad which at that time was the scientific center of Islamic countries. After completing his studies, he traveled for 30 years and eventually returned to Shiraz during the last years of his life and chose a place and dedicated his time to worshiping until he died and his body was buried there that known as the tomb of Saadi.
