Kalbarri National Park | Z Bend Trail Hike | Skywalk | Nature's Window

Kalbarri National Park is stunning! We were here late November 2021 and it was really hot! We still managed to hike the Z Bend Trail (we did start at 6:30am) but they do close trails due to the heat so it is always wise to check with National Parks before you go. The hike involved rock scrambles and ladders but was well marked and pretty easy if you took your time. A stunning view from the bottom at the river. We then hiked the short trail to the Z Bend Lookout. Back in the truck and we drove to the Kalbarri Skywalk carpark. The cafe was closed due to being 'out of season' once the heat starts to rise but there were toilets and shade and epic views over the edge of the cliff. A truly remarkable engineering feat! Last but not least we drove down to Nature's Window carpark and walked down to have a look. It didn't disappoint but like everywhere we have been - so many people! Kalbarri National Park shows just how vast our country is and just how beautiful! Until next time...
