Hello friends, I"m glad you are here to learn TAI CHI. As in an instructor, my goal is to help you become more confident, balanced and safe. In this class, we are learning the movements WHITE CRANE SPREADS WINGS, OLD MAN STROKES HIS BEARD, and BRUSH KNEE AND PUSH HAND. BRUSH KNEE AND PUSH HAND is believed to be a self-defense movement. We deflect the opponent's knee and palm-strike them, destabilizing them. If you are familiar with the whole SIMPLIFIED 24, you can also follow along in this video. Remember to keep the crown of your head high, so you vital spirit rises all the way up and nourishes your whole body. Sink into your hip joints and keep your knees slightly bent. Keep you shoulders relaxed and breathe! Give yourself good TAI CHI self-care and 100% natural and organic medicine. As we breathe and move rhythmically, focusing attention on the movement and inner sensations, the body will relax and the healing hormones will release, harmonizing, repairing and restoring.
