Meet Randall Major. He’s an American who first came to Serbia nearly 40 years ago. Here, he fell in love with his future wife and decided to stay for life. He taught English at the University of Novi Sad and translated several dozen books from Serbian into English. He shared what life was like for an American living here during Yugoslavia, why he refused to leave the country in the 1990s, and why he would rather go to the dentist than go to Belgrade. Enjoy!
