Operation Hathras Part 2: Victim Was Stalked & Harassed | Newstrack | India Today

The CBI took over the probe in the Hathras case from the Uttar Pradesh Police on Saturday and registered an FIR on Sunday. The CBI has registered a case under sections related to gangrape and murder among others, and the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act. The CBI has also constituted a team to probe the suspected 'gang rape' in the Hathras case. According to the latest update, the Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High Court adjourned the Hathrase case till November 2. The family members of a 19-year-old Dalit woman, who died after allegedly being gangraped by four men in Uttar Pradesh's Hathras district in September, today appeared before the Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High Court. The court recorded the version of the victim's family members in the Hathras case. India Today carried out operation to uncover the truth of Hathras case. Victim's family spoke on camera.
