This eclectic and obscure ensemble of musicians with folk roots recorded four singles and an album titled "The Barock Sound Of The New Society" for RCA Victor, between 1965 and 1967, never reissued on CD. This is their last single and the track is not in the album. The group is very reminiscent of other super groups of the Californian folk scene, such as The Back Porch Majority and The New Christy Minstrels, in fact they shared the producer RANDY SPARKS. Their music was a strange mix with overblown choral pop, orchestral backing and pseudo ye-olde-englishe lyrics. Group members were: Alan Parker, Carol Kimzey, Carol Stromme, Del Ramos, brother of Larry Ramos a founding member of The Association, Gary Miller, Larry Hickman and Ted Anderson. Carol Stromme subsequently recorded a solo LP, while Alan Parker, Larry Hickman and Larry Ramos founded the Californian rock band Summerhill Copyright Disclaimer Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976, allowance is made for "fair use" for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research. Fair use is a use permitted by copyright statute that might otherwise be infringing. Non-profit, educational or personal use tips the balance in favour of fair use. I own the vinyl but not the copyright of the song, if the copyright owner does not like the song being released, he can report it to me and I will remove it
