Work on the SUBZERO 93 model took about two years. The amplifier has been designed from scratch while maintaining the characteristic shape of the MLC SUBZERO amplifiers line. The highest quality components were used in the construction - starting from transformers, specially wound to the specifications of this project, ensuring strictly defined voltage values and the required sound frequency response, through the 6L6 power tubes which ensured a more aggressive and dynamic sound. The 93 number was borrowed from the THELEMA religious-philosophical system founded in 1904 by the writer and occultist Aleister Crowley. "Love is the law, love at will" WOLA and LOVE are THELEMA (will) and AGAPE (love). In the Greek ISOPHSEPHY technique, the number of letters of each word is 93. Thelema: Θελημα = 9 + 5 + 30 + 8 + 40 + 1 = 93 Agapé: Αγαπη = 1 + 3 + 1 + 80 + 8 = 93 SUBZERO 93 is a 100 watt, one-channel amplifier based on the aggressive and dynamic sound of 6L6 tubes and the famous character of MLC SUBZERO amplifiers, equipped with a noise gate, FX LOOP, two-position TONE MOD (MOD I - normal, MOD II - Silenoz aggressive sound) and switchable MASTER VOLUME. Its powerful sound just KILLS !!! The MLC 4x12 ST (STREIGHT) speaker cabinet comes with four Warehouse Veteran 30 speakers loaded on back which yields control more bass and low-end resonance and sound is close compared to rear loaded, is capable of handling 300 watts 8 Ohm MONO or divided 150 watts 16 Ohm STEREO, and is the perfect cabinet to match the MLC SUBZERO 100 on 6L6 tubes.
