With all of these frosty nights, I have been pulling my tomato plant into the garage at night and then hauling it back outside in the morning so it would still get some sunlight. Yep! It was a pain in the back, literally. Tomatoes were still growing but I didn't want to spend a bunch of money on a grow light system. My solution was simple, I found a free working floor lamp that I gutted and rewired to put my LED grow bulb in & I just set it on top of my tomato cage. Super simple and could use some upgrading but this saved me money and got the job I needed, done. Hopefully, this will encourage you to find ways to keep your plant alive as well without spending a lot of money. This project only cost me around $3.50!
