Slow travel vlog | London to Amsterdam train

In January I took the London to Amsterdam train for another slow travel vlog. In this video I show what travelling on the Eurostar to the Netherlands is like and compare it to flying. I also give a bit of history about the channel tunnel. This is actually a sort of part one video because once I arrived in Amsterdam I carried on to Zurich on the new sleeper train. I’ll be uploading part two in two weeks from now. I wanted to show how to get to Amsterdam by train because it’s one of the most popular destinations for people in the UK to travel to and not everyone knows just how easy it is to get the train. So I’m hoping that showing how much more convenient it is to travel by train will inspire others to choose slow travel over flying. A few years ago I quit flying for holidays and since then whenever I go away I travel by land or sea, mainly by train or ferry.
