Dynaco PAS tube type Preamp needs help Details of the D-Lab power supply module installation

This unit came to D-lab for re-installation of my PAS PLUS power supply board. He attempted the install, however it did not go so well. I exchanged e-mails with him for a few weeks, attempting to assist, but it was futile. So, here it is! I corrected the wiring issues, but the preamp still has other issues. Upon arrival, I noticed that the main input selector was frozen. Corrected that with some Deoxit lube. There is a video posted showing this process. Then after PS repair, I tested the unit. 12AX7's are old & microphonic. Black beauty caps have DC leakage. Tone controls are worn & intermittent. Lots more required to get it back in service. I have contacted the owner with the details. If the repair continues, I will do my best to shoot a follow up. If you have a Dynaco preamp or amplifier in need.
