Here's a more detailed look at Raag Bhupali: Key Characteristics: Thaat: Kalyan Nature: Tranquil, soft, and soothing, often used to evoke feelings of devotion (Bhakti) and peace (Shanti). Notes: It's a pentatonic scale, meaning it uses only 5 notes (Audav jaati). Carnatic Equivalent: Known as Raag Mohan or Mohanam in Carnatic music. Time of Day: Best suited for the first part of the night (first praher). Rasa (Feeling): Bhakti (Devotion) and Shanti (Peace). Poorvang Pradhan Raag: It is mostly sung in Madhya and Mandra octaves. Avoidance: One should avoid using Dhaivat as a resting note and not give much prominence to Dhaivat. Bhoopali, also known as Bhoop, Bhopali, or Bhupali, is a Hindustani classical raga.
