Landon Viator (Audiofile Engineering) "Prototyping Distortion Effects in MaxMSP for JUCE" Abstract: "JUCE is an incredibly powerful framework for creating cross-platform audio plug-ins with a myriad of included tools for making the process as easy as possible. Utilizing these included tools can speed up your workflow, but you’ll probably get to a point where you need external tools that are on the same level as JUCE in terms of power and flexibility. That’s where MaxMSP comes in. MaxMSP is a powerful audio processing environment that utilizes a visual scripting language similar to patching real-world analog devices together with cables. With MaxMSP, I’ll show you how I prototype DSP by building a distortion algorithm in MaxMSP and then realize the code in JUCE." -- Inclusion is at the core of our meetups, and we follow the Berlin Code of Conduct.
