In short - I love this sketchbook and these brushes! I bought these items as a birthday present to myself - and I'm SO glad that I did! The sketchbook is total luxury and I'm going to enjoy filling it up over time!!! The paper is wonderful quality and holds water like a dream. I taped down the edges but would also clip down the sides in the future because the water definitely puffed up the paper quite a bit. But it made such beautiful water!!! So yes, I'm super excited to use this for awhile and fill it with beautiful watercolor pieces. These brushes are amazing. They hold tons of water but also are shorter and stiffer than a traditional watercolor brush (I'm thinking like a princeton select or velvetouch) and so it gives you amazing control but is also so user friendly. The points on these brushes are beautiful and will be great for detail work too. This brush set has a perfect range of brushes for watercolor artists in my opinion. Hopefully, there are a few sets still available when this video goes out, and if you are on the fence I'd say go for it! Thanks for watching my channel!
