Clindocatly is a term used to describe a curvature of the little finger towards the ring finger. It is typically caused by abnormal growth of the small bones of the finger. There will be abnormal side to side bending of the finger or the thumb. The condition can be bilateral and usually occurs in the little finger. Minor angulation with normal length of the finger is the most common type. The function of the finger is normally not affected. Surgery may be needed in severe cases.
