She was the only girl in the family to be educated. She is a PCS officer of Uttar Pradesh from the 1998 batch, inducted into the IAS in 2014. She brings a diverse background in public administration, governance, and education, and has served in various leadership roles throughout her career. Prior to joining the civil services, she worked as a Lecturer of Geography at SV PG College, Aligarh. She has held key positions, including Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Special Land Acquisition Officer, Project Director, OSD, Deputy Director Marketing, Assistant Director, Vice Chairman, Member Secretary and Joint Commissioner.
