BREAKDOWN: I was initially going for heavy "Garden Shed" Vibes on this beat, but as i progressed I became frustrated that my beat wasnt sounding as good/ as similar to "Garden Shed". Sometimes when I get really inspired by a certain song or sound from someone else's production, I become almost infatuated with the idea of making my beat sound like theirs. When this happens to me, it often compromises the quality of the beat to an extent, and I luckily realized what i was doing, and quickly switched my mentality. Now this may still be very "Garden Shed" influenced, but it carved its own niche, and I really like the result. The distorted guitar intro bleeds nicely into the smooth rhodes/strings/synth based choruses and verses. Kept the drums simple so there's a lot of room for an artist.
