You might be able to find red miso outside of Nagoya if you go to boutique grocery stores such as ‘SEIJO ISHII (http://www.seijoishii.co.jp/en/)’ and ‘MEIDI-YA (http://meidi-ya-store.com/english/)’ or major department stores (food & gourmet sections) in Japan.
