After Bihar’s land-for-jobs scandal, Tamil Nadu now faces a massive cash-for-jobs controversy. The Enforcement Directorate has flagged a recruitment scam in the Municipal Administration and Water Supply Department, allegedly involving relatives of DMK Minister K.N. Nehru. According to the ED, over 150 candidates bought government posts by paying ₹25–35 lakh in bribes, funneled through hawala routes. The jobs were handed out by CM M.K. Stalin in August this year.
