Itching To Tell You Investigates is a new Youtube series in which Founder Zoe Ryan investigate topics of interest to people living with psoriasis in Ireland such as what products, services and treatments are available to them. The first episode in the series sees Zoe interview Dermatology Nurse Practitioner Carmel Blake about emollient therapy, an essential step in treating psoriasis that is often carried out incorrectly or not known about at all. They discuss what emollients are, how to use them, which ones are most suitable based on the type of psoriasis you have, your main complaint, budget and lifestyle as well as advice to parents of children with psoriasis. Carmel also talks about the Ask A Nurse helpline run by Irish Skin Foundation, a free resource to those who may want further information on using emollients and effectively treating their psoriasis.
