A day in Kotzebue, Alaska | Remote Alaska

To the north of the Arctic Circle Alaska becomes really different. Views are minimalistic and so are the pleasures of the local life. Nature is unforgiving. Practicality prevails. Weather is not too generous. But Alaska remains Alaska, it just changes its feathers. In the town of Kotzebue life is stunningly amazing. You can see American flags above front yards with dead seal bodies. You see a bottle of milk in the grocery and want to forget the crazy price immediately. I saw so much uniqueness in Kotzebue, and my only wish was that the camera doesn't stop working in the brutal wind and cold. Luckily it didn't.
