Treadmill Run - BEAUTIFUL Starved Rock State Park in Oglesby IL | Neat Runs

This is the long form (treadmill run) version of the recording of my run at Starved Rock in Illinois. Be sure to check out the highlight video below if you don't want to watch the full hour! It was a pretty crowded day, but still had a great time and got some great footage. This park has much to see and do. The trails aren't too technical and you are often running on wooden walkways and up stairs, which can be nice. It was a little crowded, especially nearer to the visitor center and the actual Starved Rock overlook, but if you get out on the trails there aren't as many people. I recorded two laps around the park, and spliced together the best stretches for this video. The second lap around was less crowded and sunnier, so good thing I went around again! All in all, this is a great park and I would highly recommend it for hikers, walkers, and runners of all skill levels.
