We FINALLY found a BEACH with decent WHEELCHAIR accommodations/accessibility!

Coronado Beach in California is the most accessible Beach we’ve found so far, by far. We parked in an accessible spot right next to a ramp. The ramp led to a sidewalk - which led to a heavy duty mat… and all of that got us pretty close to the water. Then, the major icing on the cake, was this bad boy power chair from the lifeguard facility. They let us have the chair for a couple of hours and it allowed Dan the freedom to get around in the sand with the kids and feel a little more a part of the fun. Is it still hard not to be able to get out and splash in the waves or walk hand in hand with the love of his life (me😉) in the sand? EXTREMELY. But we’ll take what we can get and feel blessed!
