Saoirse Ronan leads Brooklyn as Eilis Lacey, a young Irish woman who emigrates to Brooklyn, New York in the 1950s. At first, she isn't particularly thrilled with her job and is homesick for her mother and sister back home, but then she meets and falls for Tony (Emory Cohen), a kind, warm Italian boy eager to sweep Eilis off her feet. But, just when Brooklyn is starting to feel like home, a family tragedy strikes and forces Eilis to reconsider where she'll build her future. Back in September, I got the opportunity to talk to Ronan, Cohen and Domhnall Gleeson at the Toronto International Film Festival. We already shared the portion of the chat on feeling homesick and how to combat it, but now it's time for a little High/Low, a game during which they pick a high moment and a low moment from making the film.
