This weekend we cut another hole in the bus to install our Gravity Water Fill which was attached with hose connections to the fresh water tank. Another tank fitting leads to the water pump which pulls water from the fresh tank, up and into the bus to serve our two sinks and shower! Finally, the third fitting leads to a small vent through the gravity fill fitting to allow air from the tank to escape. We're really excited to begin working on some of our plumbing system, at this point, we are able to actually fill this tank up with water!!! You'll see from last week that we also removed both the tanks (for the last time) to spray paint the beams with rust preventative seal. Be sure to check in next week where (*fingers crossed) we'll be painting the roof with Henry's Tropicool ;) Supplies used in this video *Valterra Gravity Water Fill Inlet: https://amzn.to/2A8bM7q *Sharkbite Ball Valve: https://amzn.to/3dbcQWo *Sharkbite Tube Fitting: https://amzn.to/2A9cEIA 75 Gallon Water Tanks: https://amzn.to/35bwOxd Angle Grinder: https://amzn.to/3aVRElt Angle Iron and Metal Dowels: Home Depot (cut to size) Sheet Metal Bolts: https://amzn.to/3b3wphS JB Weld Part A and B: https://amzn.to/2WotRoW FOLLOW US ON IG @shawnandash @ashleyrosesalamone @shawnlacorte With love, Shawn and Ash #schoolbusconversion #tinyhome #offgridwater
