In this video, I show you how to brew a American Strong Ale. This video covers the recipe, the brew, the fermentation and the final tasting. Initially this was supposed to be an Imperial (Double) Red IPA, but since the brew itself was a bit shoddily thrown together, the result was darker and maltier than I had intended, muting the hops and resulting in a style change. This beer was INTENSE, with a lot of alcohol and bitterness which required a bit of aging. Regardless, it was an interesting brew, although not my best. I would change a lot about this beer and will probably try for the Imperial Red IPA at some point in the future again with the lessons learned from this beer. #homebrew #craftbeer #strongale ------------------------------------------------------- MERCH STORE:https://theapartmentbrewer-shop.fourt... ------------------------------------------------------- SUPPORT ME ON PATREON: / theapartmentbrewer ------------------------------------------------------- FIND ALL MY RECOMMENDED HOMEBREWING EQUIPMENT ON MY AMAZON STORE: https://www.amazon.com/shop/theapartm... ------------------------------------------------------- NORTHERN BREWER: https://www.northernbrewer.com/?utm_s... ------------------------------------------------------- MOREBEER: http://www.morebeer.com/index?a_aid=a... ------------------------------------------------------- Recipe on Brewfather: https://share.brewfather.app/gsuXCawh...
