After the Eaton Fire, Brandon Jay started the non-profit Altadena Musicians to get instruments back to those who lost theirs in the fire. He also opened this new local venue as a community gathering space. After only hearing Poppyfields once and without any rehearsal, he jumped up to sit in on drums (during an otherwise solo gig) on this new song about Altadena, which 100 years ago was but poppy fields.
