Boardwalk walk up & down between 10th and 17th street during (before/after) the MERMAID PARADE @ Coney Island in south Brooklyn NY on beautiful sunny Saturday, June 21st 2025 with Ela. We walked on the boardwalk and then on the pier - into the New York Harbor. Later - on the very end - we went on a fierce wheel and we saw the entire Coney Island beach and the luna park from above... This Mermaid Parade marks the longest day of the year = the summer solstice = the "opening of the season"... This MP was in time for the 50th anniversary of releasing the movie JAWS in 1975. Compared to Trump's Military Parade (last week) this event was nice and cool. Cool breeze from the ocean, full sun illuminating the concessions on the city side, people having a good time on the rides of the Coney Island luna park... Standing on the beach/ocean side - and filming inland -I love the full exposure - (southern exposure) - full sunlight illuminates the buildings of boardwalk restaurants, gift shops, other concessions, and the high rides of the amusement park... That day - Ela picked me up on Saturday morning around 9:30 am, we talked about my garden on the back of the blue house while standing there. I still have to replant watermelon planted by Amalia - to the individual pots, same for Beckam's carrots. Tomato plants are already big - there are already big but still green tomatoes.I have to add another stand (this time upside down) on the one already there bc the tomato plants are so tall...   Porzeczki - Ela tasted - are less bitter, but still no agrest. Mint smells nice upon touch - will be good for MOJITO. Ela drove 90+ minutes from bh to Coney Island and we parked somewhere in the garage ($30) around 12th street. Walked to the boardwalk and waited for the parade... There were some very pretty girls, even topless, I used a GoPro on one side of the boardwalk, Ela was filming with Karma on the other. Later I filmed with INSTA360 X4 from above, when the crowd got seriously large...
