Small is beautiful...

Hello and welcome to my latest video. Thanks for visiting and watching and if you ♥️ what I do, please feel free to like, comment and subscribe as it really makes a difference. Each autumn and winter I usually try and set up a small birds feeding area on the farm where I spend a lot of time and have a buzzard hide. I enjoy photographing small birds and love the interaction they have between themselves as behavioural images are my favourite type of image. This year is a little different as I have an old shed converted for use as a hide rather than using a pop-up hide. In this video I briefly talk about how I set things up, with some examples at the beginning and end of the images I take. Please get in touch or leave a comment if you have any questions. The birds themselves are the real stars and it's been great fun spending time with them over the last few weeks and hopefully more finch species will start using the feeders as we move into winter and it gets colder. All recorded and shot with Sony a1 and Sony a9iii with Sony 600mm GM and Sony 200-600G, mounted on a tripod and often with a cable shutter trigger. An external mic was used for the majority of the video recorded.
