NHS Somerset Armed Forces team and military veterans were delighted to have a visit from Charlie Taylor at BBC Somerset last week when he visit the 'Project Orchard' initiative that is taking place at Dunster Castle. He took time to speak to a number of our volunteers, and we are sharing Ian's story here, along with some images of the work in progress. The interview is a frank and very honest reflection that captures what many military personnel face in their careers and when they leave. It also explains why community projects like these are so important to mental and physical health. Thanks to all of the team involved, and in particular to Ian and other military veterans who took time to share their important stories.
