Music composed in a sunny climate of Spain or Italy will be totally contrasting to the one created in cold and harsh landscapes of Scandinavia. It indicates how much we are associated with nature surrounding us. This relationship does not only affect our diet, architecture or economy.. It also influences our emotional shape that indirectly reveals itself in art and creativity. That's why we decided to name this EP - Dark Baltic. We grew up and still live close by to this beautiful, cold sea. Therefore a lot of personal and sentimental references link us to this project, just like going back to the times of our childhood and teenage years. The most obvious change is in the rhythm layer which takes us back to our roots - motion based on tech-house expression. Harmonies are characterised by a number of waves and delayed arpeggios, which refer to the structure of tranquil water surface and an endless horizon.
