She has appeared as a guest star in several television series and has acted in the feature films: Kabluey (2007), On the Doll (2007), A Beautiful Life (2008), The Informers (2008), A Good Old Fashioned Orgy (2011), and Lost & Found in Armenia (2012). Sarafyan earned supporting roles in blockbuster films such as The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 (2012). Since 2016, she has portrayed Clementine Pennyfeather on the HBO series Westworld. Arno Yeretsian – Abril Books Abril Bookstore is the first Armenian bookstore in Los Angeles, founded in 1978 by brothers Noubar and Harout Yeretzian, along with their wives Seta and Seeroon. The Abril establishment actually began in 1977 as the first Armenian language magazine in Los Angeles, offering the community a place to read about local figures, Armenian art and culture as well as a venue for local businesses to post their ads. Shortly after, Abril Printing was established in order to print the magazines. It expanded into an official press offering printing services to many of the local Armenian businesses, schools and organizations. Abril Publishing was also born, printing and publishing many new books in Armenian and in English written by local Armenian authors. Abril Bookstore became a cultural hub for many intellectuals to meet and converse and argue in an atmosphere of books, cigarette smoke, coffee and food. In 1989, Noubar sadly passed away after struggling for 4 years with Lou Gehrig's disease. This left Abril in shock for years to come. In 1998, Abril Bookstore followed the trend of many Armenians to move to the city of Glendale and establishing in their now famous location off the corner of Broadway and Jackson. Abril thrived as a cultural center, hosting various author events. Abrilbooks.com was launched in 2000, making Abril accessible to the world. In 2010, Harout was diagnosed with cancer and soon passed away, leaving the business in shock once again. His son, Arno, with the help of those dear to Abril, quickly took the reigns and eventually remodeled the store with a fresh new energy, joining his mother, Seeroon Yeretzian's Roslin Art Gallery to the space in 2014. Seeroon also succumbed to the horrible disease of ALS in 2011. Arno ultimately enhanced the cultural center aspect of the stores and eventually hosted 5 events per month, including movie nights, musical performances and art exhibits. Abril thrived as the heart of the community. In 2020, due to rental increases and the COVID pandemic, Abril was forced to move to another location, to the cozy corner of Glendale at Adams Square. After 43 years, Abril continues to offer the community Armenian books, music, videos, gifts and a feeling of our homeland.
