Quarth Arcade Game Over Continue || Arcade Game Overs

We here on Niko & Friends cover all kinds of games - be they well-known, or a little more obscure, like Quarth. I honestly never even knew this was an arcade game until recently. The Quarth I experienced was on the Gameboy growing up, so I was a little surprised to find that this existed, and how different it is from the GB version. Hmm...maybe we should do a comparison video? The game over sequence here isn't too complex. A simple countdown after your ship gets crushed, and then onto the title screen. We played around with the background too, making it turn a different color than that blood red we tend to use. We felt that it fit the game's mood a little better. Fun fact! In the US the arcade version was called "Block Hole" and not "Quarth". It's also the parent rom so if you want to burst some blocks, make sure you have the Block Hole ROM before you get Quarth. That confused me for quite a while!
