WRITTEN GUILD & BUILDS BELOW: Boss 1 0:07: There is a lot of movement with this boss with poison AOE's and the boss teleporting around, so be sure to spread out yet stay close enough for heals. The 9 second poison AOE does not require a barrier to survive through it, but I did find it to be helpful. Boss will disappear at 70% and a Nix-Ox will appear which just needs to be interrupted. Boss sometimes charges at players (indicated by him drawing back his sword), and this should be at the tank. However, someone else could get targeted if the tank doesn't re-obtain aggro fast enough after the teleport phase. So, if you put a target marker on the boss, this marker will stay in the location of where he will re-appear, and it's easy for the tank to keep an eye on this location and quickly get taunt to avoid this problem altogether. The charge can be dodged, however, if it does happen to be on someone else. At 45% you'll get another boss disappearance phase and an iron atro will appear which just needs to be interrupted. Some of the smaller ads on the sides will blow up when they die, so try not to touch them if possible, especially if there is more than one together. BOSS 2: 1:29 During the orb phase (which is always cued by an audio remark from the boss), it's helpful to have two players running crushing shock. These absolutely need to be interrupted, and sometime it's possible to fail the interrupt if you try crushing shock too fast FYI. Always stay in the safe circles during dark phase, and if orbs happen during this time, know that you can safely exit the circle for 1-2 seconds to get an interrupt and then dodge backward into the circle. A barrier also extends this safety window. Dump ultimates on the Nix-Ox, especially when he is up at the same time as the boss. During beam phase, the tank will be in the middle of the arena blocking the three beams, while the DPS kite in their own corners on the outsides of the arena. A magma shell is great for this time, but the healer should be spamming heals while kiting. Boss 3: 2:46 The boss will twirl her staff and slam it in the ground, indicating incoming exploding poison AOE's where you were last standing. Make sure you're not stacked and that you dodge out of these. This mechanic will happen immediately in the beginning of the fight and often comes after she ports across the room. Skeevers are absolute 100% priority targets, and they target whoever has the red symbol over their head. If the skeever touches this person, there is a nasty debuff which drains your resources (which can make pestilence phase impossible). Kite them, stun them with immobilizations, and kill the shit out of them. The other priority enemy is the blob (AKA GoopMan), which drains the tank of resources and does a stun. **PESTILENCE PHASE (why you are probably reading this guide in the first place). This phase happens twice (65% & 45%) and is a hellish 25 second healing check that ramps up in damage over the course of its duration. Trust me, it's a challenge for even experienced and skilled healers. It's already been nerfed and will 100% be nerfed again in the future because of its difficulty level. There are plenty of strategies but this is what worked for us: because the damage gets worse over time, don't immediately spam defensive ultimates when this phase begins. Instead, wait 5 or so seconds, then the tank pops the first defensive ultimate. We had our tank switch to Automated Defense so with a 500 ultimate barrier, this is 50 seconds of Major Aegis and is why he goes first. Two more barriers are staggered for the remainder of the phase (the second barrier around 10-12 seconds and the third around 17-18 seconds), which leaves only about 7 seconds of a vulnerability window where you can spam other heals (combat prayer or breath of life). Even if the third barrier were saved for the last few seconds, it would get eaten up immediately by the damage, and having one earlier allows for some breathing room of being shielded to relay other heals that have expired (illustrious healing and orbs). For healing, I swapped my sets for this final boss to Olorime (for Minor Aegis), Winter's Respite (for raw healing and a good HOT), and Symphony. Our tank also used Lord Warden for the extra resistance for the group, in conjunction with Automated Defense. Moreover, Bastion red CP was used to buff shields. During pestilence phase, save the time stop for after the ads are pulled in, so they can be frozen together which allows for a destro to nuke them all together. If time stop occurs outside of a pestilence phase, just use it immediately, especially at execute. Focus the boss during execute. BUILDS: HEALER: Boss 1 & 2: Master Architect/Spell Power Cure/Symphony of Blades Final Boss: Winter's Respite/Olorime/Symphony of Blades TANK: Boss 1 & 2: Turning Tide, Arkasis, Nazaray Final Boss: Turning Tide, Automated Defense, Lord Warden DPS: 2 Oakensorcs using resistance health potions
