Texas, big changes are here! As of September 1, 2025, SB 2024 is in full effect, transforming the rules around e-cigarettes, vape pens, and disposable vapes in the state. In this video, we break down: What SB 2024 bans (THC & cannabinoid vapes, alcohol, kratom, mushroom, tianeptine in devices, and more) Restrictions on marketing and design: no cartoon characters, celebrity images, candy-like packaging, or devices disguised as pens, toys, school supplies, cosmetics, electronics, or backpacks. Limits on products manufactured in or marketed as from countries deemed “foreign adversaries,” including China. The new penalties: knowingly selling or marketing banned vape products is a Class A misdemeanor, with up to 1 year in jail and/or a $4,000 fine. What’s still legal: certain nicotine vapes (US-filled, compliant designs), possession isn’t banned, and some non-vape cannabinoid products may remain lawful. Whether you’re a customer, retailer, or vape enthusiast, here’s what you need to do—and know—to stay compliant in Texas.
