What to expect from light and medium roast if you brew it as a Turkish coffee? To find out, I've got the same coffee (in terms of the green coffee) which is roasted for Espresso and another one - for Pour Over. And I decided to use 6 clicks on Comandante c40, as with the previous Anarobic Natural processed. In terms of the aroma of ground coffee - Espresso roast was more interesting and intense. FLAVOR Espresso roast is tough, bold, full-bodied, chocolaty. Slightly oily and intense. Mostly towards dark notes. Acidity is low. You can clearly perceive currant and some slightly cooked wild strawberry. Pour Over roast - thinner in taste, a little bit drying like a wine, refreshing. Medium-low acidity. Fresh wild strawberry but mostly currant. In the cold cup I wanted to drink pour over roast till the end, while espresso roast become "too dark" for my taste. Both cups were clean and pleasant, without "roast" notes.
