Metroid Prime 4 has been making waves due to players having issues with Samus interacting a lot with speaking characters, and those speaking characters, or rather one in particular, being...annoying. Well, this all had me thinking about Other M, which in some ways was the first "talkie" of the Metroid franchise. Prime 3 had plenty of dialogue from some side characters and the Aurora Units, but Other M did something different: it gave Samus herself a voice...how does it all hold up? At the beginning of the stream, I will also get my RT4K's firmware updated and go over how to run an auto gain calibration with the 240p Test Suite. Some housekeeping that I figured would be more fun to do on stream. Captured using the RetroTINK 4K Pro and HD Retrovision Component Cables for Wii. Game Launched with USB Loader to implement the 480p Patch. Subscribe to be Notified when new content gets released! Bear that in mind with any content containing capture footage from those devices. My commentary and opinions come from the Raw Capture Files and what it looks like on my TV, I can't accurately account for what details are lost to compression until after the video is uploaded.
