Sorry for this very bad video tape! There are many image disturbances and short black outs! This was caused by a very bad Video Hi8 tape, it's a pitty that this damaged this unique video. On the 12.05.1994 there was a little ceremony on Royal Air Force Airport BERLIN-GATOW. High military generals of all 4 allies, even the Russian General Burlakov, head of the West Group of Russian Forces where there. The Vickers VC-10 is was my absolutely favourite to watch her unique shape and marvellous sound of her whining ROLLS ROYCE Conway engines! Farewell to BERLIN-GATOW in June 1994! One of the last take offs before the withdraw of the British troops in West-Berlin in Summer 1994. I lived many years close to ROYAL AIR FORCE Station und the airport of Berlin-Gatow in the South-West part of Berlin. It was a unique time. My home was opposite the NAAFI CLUB in Berlin-Westend at the Theodor-Heuss-Platz. The approach 26 was flying over the Funkturm und the Field Station Berlin on the Teufelsberg.
