This 1 of 500, 18k rose gold dual time 42 mm timepiece combines a bold modern case and dial combination with a time-tested Ulysse Nardin tandem of complications. The watch is quite svelte at 13 mm thick, 49 mm from extremity to extremity, and with its case that has a bit of camber so that it arcs over the wrist, it will slide easily under a tight cuff on a wrist down to a size of 15 cm in circumference. The strap is of incredible quality. Bolstered, beautifully made with a rich navy blue monotone-stitch and folded edges. It is paired with a beautiful, red gold twin trigger actuated deployant clasp. The swing arm provides great security and there is no pinching. The case contains sensuous compound curves and strong character lines. The richness of the gold is spectacular, and is beautifully matched with a matte blue metallic cobalt blue dial. The dial pattern can be described as either vertically striated waves or scales of a fish. The legibility is excellent and is also luminescent. The back of the watch features the Ulysse Nardin Calibre UN 334 with 48 power reserve and modern 4 HZ beat rate. This watch has long wearing durability.
