I'm a vegan tattoo artist and I even use vegan inks!

I was born into a meat-consuming family. The meat was part of my diet and I never gave it a second thought. For 18 years I was eating animals on my plate, but I was also very close to stray dogs living outside my home. I used to feed the stray dogs every single day. I loved them. One day someone said ‘if you love animals, but eat them, that makes you a hypocrite’. That was enough for me to turn vegetarian. I thought I was doing my best for animals, I loved them after all. Then in 2019, I watched Cowspiracy. I was stunned. I continued watching documentaries about the negative impact a vegetarian or non-vegetarian diet can have on animals and the environment. I turned vegan. I am always on the lookout for cruelty-free options, whether in cosmetics or personal care. I am a very creative person and I decided to be a tattoo artist. I even searched for vegan tattoo inks. I am also a musician because it comes from within me. The fact that I am not intentionally causing suffering to any being with my actions allows me to sleep better at night. I am doing my best and I truly believe that if I can, then anyone else can.
