While it’s true that those who are truly saved will never lose their salvation, not everyone who professes faith has genuine saving faith. This is why many theologians prefer the term “perseverance of the saints.” It means that true believers will endure in faith to the end—not by their own strength, but by God's preserving grace (John 10:28–29; Phil. 1:6). This is both a comfort and a call to examine ourselves in the faith. 📖 Bible Readings: John 10:27–29 (Philippians 1:6; Romans 8:29–39; 1 John 2:19; 2 Corinthians 13:5; Matthew 7:21–23; 2 Peter 1:10–11; Hebrews 3:14; 1 John 5:11-13; Titus 2:11-12) 👨🏻💻 Teachings: 1. Not all professions of faith are genuine conversions. 2. True believers are preserved by God and will persevere in faith. 3. God secures our salvation, and genuine fruit will show it. 💪🏼 Applications: 1. Examine your faith to see if you are truly in Christ. 2. Endure in faith, trusting in God’s sustaining grace. 3. Encourage others to pursue holiness, not false assurance. 🎙Discussion: Why is it important to focus on the evidence of salvation rather than assurance of salvation? 🙏🏼 Prayer: Father in heaven, thank You for Your faithfulness in holding me fast. I rest in Your promise that no one can snatch me from Your hand. But Lord, I also ask You to search my heart. Let me not be content with mere outward religion or empty profession. Help me walk in true repentance and obedient faith, bearing fruit that glorifies You. When I am weak, remind me that You are strong. Strengthen me to endure, to keep believing, and to finish well. Thank You that my salvation is secure—not because of me, but because of Christ. In His name I pray, amen. Partner: Bea
