Installing the Last Pieces of My Forged Miata Engine

After months of work, the turbo Miata engine build is finally coming together. In this vlog, I finish installing some of the most important parts that bring the motor to life: the Fluidampr crank pulley, HKS cam gears, HKS timing belt, R Theory coolant reroute, Kraken low-mount turbo manifold, and the GT2560 turbo mounted up. I also swap in a cast water pump and R Theory water pump pulley to complete the front of the engine. This video isn’t a step-by-step how-to, it’s a build vlog showing the process, time-lapses, and behind-the-scenes moments as I explain why I chose each part for this forged 1.6 Miata turbo setup. You’ll also get a look at the freshly powdercoated valve cover and how all the finished pieces look coming together.
