New video shows Rayshard Brooks calmly speaking to police before the struggle that ended with him being shot dead in the parking lot of a Wendy's drive-thru. His death - the latest of an unarmed black man in America - sparked angry protests in Atlanta last night as a crowd torched the restaurant and blocked a freeway. One policeman involved was fired early today after the Mayor of Atlanta said the use of lethal force was not justified. Now bodycam footage emerged showing Rayshard's last moments before he was gunned down while running away. Cops found him asleep in his car on Friday night and tried to arrest him after he failed a sobriety test. The bodycam video shows Rayshard, 27, calmly answering questions from the two officers. One says "I think you've had too much to drink to be driving" and moves to place the suspect in handcuffs. The footage becomes blurred and shaky as the two cops begin wrestling with Rayshard on the ground. They can be heard yelling: "Stop fighting!" The Georgia Bureau of Investigation said Rayshard resisted arrest, and then grabbed one officer's taser as he ran away. The new bodycam video ends with the sound of three gunshots as the officers chased him on foot and opened fire a short distance away.
