Loaded into Fortnite Zero Build trios with the certified legends T-West and 10Yard, and at this point I already know my role. Not IGL. Not fragger. Not clutch king. I’m emotional support with a pickaxe. We drop hot because apparently T-West doesn’t believe in “warming up.” Within 30 seconds he’s cracked two shields, 10Yard is chasing a third guy across the POI like he owes him money, and I’m in a corner trying to figure out why I picked up six different types of ammo but no shotgun. First fight kicks off and I proudly announce, “I hit him 30!” T-West: “Which one?” Me: “Uh… the general direction.” By the time I reload, both legends have already cleaned the squad. I’m sprinting over like I contributed, throwing a mini at someone who’s already full shield just so I can feel included. Mid game? Same story, different lobby. I’m farming materials out of habit… in Zero Build. 10Yard drops three in a row. T-West is calling rotations like he’s coaching a scrim team. I eliminate one very confused bot who was shooting at a tree and act like I just won FNCS. End game rolls around and somehow I have 2 elims (both AI), 400 light ammo, and absolutely no business being alive. Final circle. Chaos everywhere. Third parties flying in. I get cracked instantly because I peek like I’ve never learned a lesson in my life. T-West slides in, deletes a duo. 10Yard beams another kid out of the sky like it’s target practice. I’m behind a rock popping a med kit, providing what I call “strategic morale.” Last team pushes. I panic spray. Miss most of it. Maybe hit a toe. Doesn’t matter. The legends do legend things. T-West gets the knock. 10Yard finishes it. I fire a celebratory shot three seconds after the squad wipe. Victory Royale. Scoreboard pops up: T-West – double digits. 10Yard – right behind him. Me – statistically present. Same story as always… but hey, I was there when we secured the W. And honestly?
