Ukraine’s military claims it killed 111 Russian troops and destroyed 17 vehicles in southern Ukraine on July 20. NATO forces from 19 countries are holding a multinational artillery exercise at Germany’s Grafenwoehr military training ground. Meanwhile, CIA Chief William Burns claims Putin’s goal is to restore Russia to its former status of a great power. Dismissing rumours over Putin’s ill health, Burns said that “he is apparently too healthy”.
