Gorilla Suit Day ruins worldbuilding:    • Modern SpongeBob Forgot that Gorillas Don'...   Plankton's family only appeared in one episode of classic SpongeBob, Plankton's Army, but their appearance did so much to further round out Planktons character. The most notable attribute of Planktons family is how hillbilly-like they are. In their first appearance this hillbilly stereotype was used to tell the story of the episode. In subsequent appearances, they are reduced to nothing more than cheap hillbilly jokes. I suppose they had a good presence in The Plankton Movie though. Oh, and to make matters worse, the Plankton family members are all wrapped up with the character of Narlene Narwhal so we get to see some of her episodes too...
