The original movie was made in Feb 3rd 2011 Remake version in 2024 fixed the following BUGs: 1. Video's resolution too low's issue 2. Slow motion's shots did not have enough frames's issue 3. There was no sound in slow motion of first person's shots's issue 4. Some third person's shots moved not smooth's issue 5. The models of some clips were cut at long range because Gold Src engine setting's issue 6. Transparent textures of some models shrinkage issue 7. Outer edges of the map wear out's issue 8. Map textures tiling too regular's issue 9. Gold Src engine graphics low quality's issue 10. The music quality too low's issue 11. Some audio sync not matched issue 12. Special effects that could not be done before because my skills back in the day was not good enough's issue 13. Some textures of the map got lost's issue 14. Some clips of the sky overexposure's issue 15. End title overlay mode was not correct's issue 16. Color space inside Gold Src Engine did not contain enough Color Gamut's issue 17. There was no HDR support's issue 18. There was no Hi-Res Audio support's issue 19. Some parts of UV stretched's issue 20. Original movie's Color space did not contain enough Color Gamut's issue 21. The ending shot being lazy and used the first shot as a random slow playback as a background because there were no more demos available's issue 22. Some demos were too simple issue: Replaced by AWP from Famas at 00:43-01:02, M4 replaced by Famas at 01:04-01:14 At 01:26-01:39 upgrade from duck to no duck, M4 replaced by Famas at 01:53-02:01 At 02:03-02:12 upgrade from duck to no duck, M4 replaced by Famas at 02:13-02:20 At 02:21-02:30 upgrade from duck to no duck, M4 replaced by Famas at 02:34-02:42 PS: Although replaced those easy demos, but I still feel easy, Because I did all those within 15 mins. and I added some people that I wanna thank right now in the end title. The reason why I make this movie is because I wanna clear my technical regrets that had been left behind. Because If I don't, I can't move on. (That's just the way I am.) And the second, I wanna use this opportunity to remind people don't forget your intentions. and I wanna see if you push video quality and skills to another level could it wake up some passions inside video editors? All the while making things the way it was meant to be. The idea of making this movie is I want people know this is CS1.6, instead of another game. So, I kept most things, especially original textures. (Because I think if all of that is given up then what's left of it is gone.) Then add on top of that and extend. CS1.6, KZ, The most important thing is it's feeling, The nature of the engine leads to a violent aesthetic with the trait of being able to strafes violently N times in the air, It's like no other game. My own understanding is that it has to work with the mapping, sounds, movement, and models from the original game to allow for the most familiar feeling of the experience, instead of switched everything and cause The Ship of Theseus issue. A 2024 movie should look like the quality of 2024, no?
