HOW TO STOP HAVING NIGHTMARES (3 EASY STEPS) Nightmares can pop up, again and again, leaving you feeling out of control, scared and anxious about going to sleep and waking up. Dreams are a way of your mind understanding and trying to resolve undealt with emotions or feelings in your life. So Nightmares are your brain shocking you to get you to address and diminish the feelings that you are trying to ignore or forget. So how then do we start to stop having nightmares? 1) Listen to the feelings associated with your nightmares 2) What are those feelings trying to tell you? 3) Act on the message of the feeling. Remember it is not so much the content of your nightmare that is to be listened to but rather the feeling or emotion underneath it By listening to the feelings associated with your nightmares it means that your dreams won't have the same emotional tinge and so your nightmares will start to diminish and you will start having a better nights sleep.
